Hatch & the Community

Hatch sponsors Samba kids!

Local children’s football project receives support from Hatch.

Samba Street Soccer is a grass roots organisation transforming the lives of children in a disadvantaged area of West London. Set up in 2005 by ex-professional footballer, Andrew Amers-Morrison, it teaches local children a South American form of football known as ‘futsal’, which emphasises ball skills.

Through their innovative training programme; they help nearly 150 children to become fit and healthy, divert away from crime, raise self-esteem; confidence and of course provides enjoyment for the children.

Hatch has pledged their full support to Samba Street Soccer, however the organisation still needs additional sponsorship to reach their fundraising target of £5,000 to save the organisation from closing down.

To help reach this target the children of Samba Street Soccer between the ages of 4-14, have recently completed a sponsored jog around Hyde Park.
