Save Borough market…

One of London’s favourite historical landmarks has been earmarked for ‘modernisation’ with plans being approved for a second viaduct to slice through the heart of Borough Market.

If you haven’t been to the market I suggest you take a trip one Saturday morning to experience what a great place it is. It supports many of or finest small food producers from around the UK, and further afield, creating a fantastic cultural melange. Ask any tourist what their favourite London experiences are and and I’m positive Borough Market will be on the list.

Wouldn’t it be a shame if there were plenty of train tracks to bring people into London, but nothing to experience?

There is a petition to sign so please tell as many people as possible.

Spring Cleaning…

Something strange is going on with our efforts for SEO at Shine Professional Cleaning. I think we need loads more links to the site so we might have to do something a bit left-field.

We have considered a blog with some videos giving away the odd trade secret, but I think some sort of viral video, like a remake of ‘The Plank’ by Eric Sykes might be interesting. Any ideas welcome…

Well it’s all quite bitchy, but it is fashion after all! Prepare yourself for handbags at dawn and you’ll probably find out exactly what’s in some of the most famous ones. Unruly Studio and Hatch have launched Questionhair to sort out all your fashion faux pas and there’s plenty of decent advice about what you’re doing wrong with your hair and your skin. Look out for Unruly’s new beauty parlour and online shop selling the best hair tools and beauty products. Gorgeous!

Dreaming Big

I’ve recently been waking up in the morning with with some off the wall, creative ideas for our next 4 campaigns for Jarlsberg.

Following on from two highly successful email campaigns in the second half of 2006 we are delighted that Tine UK have asked Hatch to handle its online marketing output for 2007.

If you like Emmental, and other ’swiss style’ cheeses with big holes in it, then keep an eye out for tickets to the BBC Good Food Show and Ideal Homes Show. Jarlsberg will be rolling out the big wheels in London, Birmingham and Glasgow this year.

There will probably be plenty of Jarlsberg to fill your boots with and some unusual competitions to enter. Watch out for some great offers coming through email throughout 2007 too! If you want to get on the lists, and stand a better chance if you get in early, click here.
